How did you see this Bryan? Do you look at all your $$ serial #'s or did you find it by surprise? I should get in the habit of looking for star notes and such. Good Find...

Speaking of things stamped on currency, for those who aren't familiar with wheresgeorge.com you should really check it out. Very interesting!

I like wheresgeorge although it can become a bit addictive, like everything else I'm afraid. I also collect notes with different things on them. I have a few like "I grew hemp" , Gay money ( I think this was to show that the gay community was an economic force), Bush is a fraud, "support your local militia" and "gun owner" to name a few.

It is basically a site for tracking the movement of a note by the serial number. You log onto the site, set up an account, enter the serial number, then send it on its way. Hopefully someone else will go to the website, enter the SN and that way you know where the note has been.

Its interesting to track a note. I've spent a dollar in Arizona and had it re-entered 48 hours later in NYC. Its amazing to see how fast notes travel around the country while others get re-entered just a few miles from home over and over again for a few years.
