Ah, but what you omitted to say was that there are no other PROOF issues of the 2005 Platypus 20c as all 2005 Proof Sets contain the 2005 dated proof 60th Anniv. of End of WW2 commemorative 20c and all other 2006 Proof sets contain a 2006 dated proof Platypus 20c.

A proof coin and a circulation coin even with same date and design are not the same coins. Also one is a mule and the other was not.

Don't be ridiculous. They are definitely not mules. They are just a rare proof version of a circulating coin.

Tonyozcan, Why would your valued clients be paying well above $100 for a $2.50 item?

They are NOT mules - you CANNOT say the proof is a mule when the same coin exists as a circulation issue in huge quntities.

You are talking rubbish.

Listen and learn.

END OF STORY.

And can I add, as I will own both of these set shortly, and for the record I think they are mules, not that I wish to enter debate about it, because I don't actually care either way as they in the end, regardless of what you or I think, they are factually one of the rarest know (if not the rarest) DECIMAL PROOF COINS, and that's why I bough them, completely regardless of anything else!

Brissy, LOL

Is a mule a coin or is it a type of error?

I know of only two confirmed & proven sets to exists... Mine & the one pictured in CAB, but as of this post have unconfirmed reports that they are about 10 so far supposedly known across OZ, but these are unproven. Only time will tell, but I promise they are rarer than the $1.
