I thought I would just post this unusual die crack on a 1971 D Lincoln cent---

Robbudo, what makes you think that it's a lamination as opposed to a die crack?

Looks like a small die chip with a gouge line.
Unless that line is raised and not incuse.

Die crack. I have one, (can't find the image now) that the die crack states in the same place and extends past the year. Seems like it is a 1972. But that is how they look. A lamination would not make the north turn on the E on WE. It would have continued in the same direction. It may not be as high on the coin because of being in circulation. But it is a die crack.
