I have been reading about the lack of integrity on the internet,ie E-Bay.I never bought anything and it must be O.K. most of the time,but...Why worry? I have been looking at a company for the past few months and havent found any that beat their prices.Has anyone had any dealings with them? http://www.apmex.com/?utm_source=OV...MTC=standard ( sorry that's APMEX.com)

Eh, some of their prices look ok and they seem higher on other things. I like how they got their website setup though, was easy to find things I was looking for.

However, it may be worth not having to face the hassles of ebay for the prices to be a little more. I would tend to think with a company you might have more recourse should something go wrong.

Place a small order at first and see how it goes and then let us know. I am always looking for more resources other than ebay. (I think I might start calling them Wal-Bay here soon)

Yeah Irishraider their site is set up well.I have been watching the Buff. MS It was $605,at one time. They have no problem adjusting for metal movements.Although trends downward take a little longer.

I will pay more for the lack of a hassle and somme piece of mind.. Also dealers can be more easily held accountable ie.(business liscenure, better business burea, etc)than ebayers also I am sure most have entered in to the business as a collector and are more knowledgeable and proffesional. by the way they do have a nice sight. did you notice the way the use the eye catching colors to draw your attention etc. We as people are sheep and can be easily hearded into buying impulse style ..

I think most coins are bought on inpulse, thats why my hands are handcuffed when I watch coin vault. No really,I decided long ago never to buy anything, ever, after one experience. But they had MS '70 $5 Eagles NGC for $150 no shipping. That beats everyone. Oh and I looked you up,nice find on that Seated quarter. You would have loved AAC , the auction network, sat. night. They had 4 boxes of world coins. Each one containing a page of proof coins from alphabetically arranged countrys.the four boxes had every country. The boxes were selling for around $400 a piece.Coins from 1985,they have one box left, selling tonight,Sun.AAC but its on Dish.Google it,they have a time listed for auctioning each item. Each box had like 50 countrys, complete proof set.Everything pristine.I'd give a website but they are off the air until 9:00 pm

Wow, just took a quick look at that site and I see they have a couple items I've been searching for locally with no luck. Guess I'll give it a shot and report back my findings on the board here.

I've looked at them a few times, but never purchased. Like scoutjim said, you're paying for peace of mind, and their prices really aren't too bad.
