Need Help With A 1896 Morgan With Lowercase " A " On Face.

sgtbigred Valued Member United States 83 Posts	Posted 09/27/2010 09:30 am Not sure of your question. When you say "face" are you referring to the Obverse? there is no letter A on that side. The only letter A is on the reverse side (eagle side). As the others have stated, if it looks like it was stamped into the coin, then it would be a counter stamp.
