Thats a 1927P Peace dollar, P being for the Philly Mint. Scans are very hard to grade,a picture would give more info. I would guess the coin to be somewhere in the EF-AU grade without seeing better pictures and that puts the value between $35-$60 range. Some here could probably get closer on the grade and value with actual pictures. Morgan dollars were minted from 1878-1904 and then one year issue in 1921 and never again after that. Hope that helps.

I'm not too good with grading, but I'll take a stab at this one and say it's an EF-45, maybe an AU-50.

EF-40 to EF-45 worth about $35-$40. It is the lowest mintage of the 1927 Peace dollars but still a significant amount to where the value wouldn't be too much. Still a nice piece of silver and one I don't have.

I'm not going to attempt to grade this thing because Peace dollars are the hardest coin for me to trry to grade correctly because they all have a poor strike and make a MS-65 looks like a ef45 so that coin could very well be a MS coin even though it looks like a EF

I agree that scans are very difficult to grade. Scans just do not show the true character or luster. However, being that this Peace is very weakly struck and appears to lack luster I would go with the EF-40-45 range. As with New Orleans Morgans, the luster could make the difference between an Extra Fine coin and MS. Most Peace dollars have high mintages due to why they were being minted in the first place and the value is relatively low comparatively. Nor do they, seemingly, have the collector appeal as do Morgans.
