Hey there!

I have a question why this coin in my collection have this very.. light colour compared to a normal Lincoln Cent? Or has it to do with being worn in some special way? Or is it just different "tonings"?

It is even brighter in real life than in the pictures.

Looks like someone cleaned it with an abrasive material at some point in the past to me.

Does it look like it has a coating of some pink sparkly nail polish on it or something like that? I have found a number of copper cents, mainly from the late 60s, that have that type of finish. Never knew what it was. If I run across any I'll post some pix.

It does look polished. I have several wheaties that pretty much sparkle. I don't know what caused it.

Yeah you could say it's "pink sparkly". Very much like that at least.

I can't tell if that's a mint mark or not.. might just be a little damage.. Although the mint mark might've been cleaned off.
