Maybe VG-7 because in the RedBook to get a VG-8 it would need to have some letters legible in Liberty. Still it is in better shape than most circulated I have owned.

I would grade this one VG-8. You can still see a fair amount of detail and from what I could see of the reverse it still has part of the E Pluribus Unum in the ribbon. That is of course if my eyes are awake or not yet. Here is the one I have, it is the only one also, got it off of the bid board. It doesn't have as much detail as yours and I put it at G-4.

I didn't notice it until now but mine has a little die rotation going on. Not much, but a little. Looks like around
7 1/2º, not bad I reckon.

Thanks guys! The pic that I have on the image gallery might be better or atleast a closer one. It's the same pic but, Bobbys toys make it look clearer.

I would say VG. I think the last 3 letters of Liberty probably are visible, looks like a little darkness in the hair ribbon where they would be. Also, rims are pretty strong. Have you looked with a loupe at the hair ribbon? Bet you can see "rty".

Using 200 power reading glasses and my 10X Loupe I don't see an "RTY" but, I do see an "E Pluribu U" on the reverse. Can you imagine a non coin person reading this? They'd probably say "what are they talking about?".

I was hopeing for atleast a VG7 or 8. Do you think atleast a VG7?

(I'm still a little giddy after reading Irishraiders comments on another thread blowing Diet Mountain Dew through his nose - sorry!)

I can only see the L and Part of the I. I am not sure what grading guides are being used. By the Red Book Liberty Must show 3 letters . I have seen some wher that if you can 2 full and maybe two halves of a letter that would count. It is a very Nice Circuulated coin But I can only give it a Good-4 Maybe you can squeese a ^ out of it depending on what it looks like in hand. dsking can you see more than two letters in liberty, as adobero1 stated the dark spot usually gives it away on weather or not letters are showing I blew it up and can only get 1 and 1/2 of a letter .. Sorry

There is something that looks like an "L" and yes, I finally saw a slight "r" and a definite "t" and "y". My eyes didn't see them before but, in better lighting they showed up.
