MS-64 I think. Could be a point lower or higher depending on lighting and stuff. Nice coin!

That is one clean coin. Wowser. I gotta come back to it, because the cheek dazzled me at first glance and now I don't trust my opinion. Right offhand, I can't see the breast feathers well enough to choose between AU and MS.

Ye gads! Another O! Lemmesee... looks like good luster, no rim dings, no serious marks on the devices nor fields, but typical weak strike New Orleans. I'm gonna stick my neck out on this one and say MS-64. I think the weak strike would keep it from -65 (market grading), but I could be wrong.
Will check the others' opinions. Too many Morgans today to cover them all and my computer and modem battery bank is getting weak.

Yeah, I'll stick with the -64 for now. Terry, you ever think about Carson City Morgans! They don't leave me so . Fred

I usually don't try the grading online of possible MS coins for the very reason Dave mentioned. But, what the hey, you only live once! (I even have trouble with AU vs. MS in real life) But, I guess I'll say MS, because the luster in front of Liberty's profile looks unbroken. I guess I'll say 64 too, just because the luster doesn't seem blazing enough to give a 65. But, if it were brighter, it'd probably pass right over 65 and go higher yet. That's my Two Cents. (er, dollar's worth)

Wow! Way to go TLS. This is a coin where you might as well look for a 65, since the VG value is already about 1/2 of the 65!

I have been looking at the Jack Lee 1903-O on ebay now but they are gonna have to come down on the price a little, it being owned by Jack Lee is not enough for me to pay 1500.00 more than its worth if it didn't have his name on it

Those Jack Lee and other high-pedigree Morgans are being offered by Michael Casper of Ithaca, NY (home of my alma mater, Cornell ). He's been selling top pops from PCGS Registry Sets for a couple years, at one time offered his Number Three Carson City Morgan PCGS Registry Set for a million bucks on ebay, actually got an offer, but it fell through and he relisted it. His Morgan CCs: http://www.pcgs.com/new_set_registr...mberofsets=5His current items: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZca...n.comQQhtZ-1 . Too many zeros after the dollar sign for my budget. Maybe next week. Fred PS - I shudda added that anytime there is a question about whether a Morgan is Prooflike or Deep Mirror Prooflike, all that's needed is to take a look at Michael Casper's offers for REAL PL or DMPL characteristics.

That dadburn "California" set must be the stuff, it went from nowhere to the all time finest in a matter of minutes in a BUNCH of different catagories. To bad its set where you cant see what that set consists of because who ever owns that set must have some nicens

Wow...great coin TLS! Any idea why people are willing to literally buy the holder and not the coin? If you took the Jack Lee part off of the holder, the coins would still be amazing, but would be worth less.
