Sort of depends on your monitary status. If you need money, not a good idea. If you really don't need money, keep them for a few years in case there is a massive run on those. Never no about what tomorrow will bring.
To give you an example of saving those. Way back in the 70's myself and a friend tried to outdo each other with how many of those Bicenttneial Quarters we could accumulate. Somewhere about after 30 years of saving those he accumulated a few thousand dollars worth. I too had a massive amount of them. I went to many ocin shows and asked if any dealers wanted them. My only offer was $0.24 each as sort of telling me "your kidding". So mine and my friends all ended up in banks counting machines.

Me, I look at it differently, if you are going to just keep one roll, why not go through every nickel and keep the best 40 out of the whole box. Wouldn't it be neat to own a solid MS67-MS69 roll. Out of all those nickels you might have a handful of gems in there.
