I'm sorting and grading my Seated Liberty coins today, and on some of them I'm experiencing mild confusion. This one is showing some partial letters in Liberty, but none appear to be complete, and the ANA guide stipulates for VG-8 "Some letters in LIBERTY are clear". I'm satisfied that it will grade above G-4, but am hesitant to grade it VG-8. What are your opinions?

Hi Ralph

I seethe Reverse as VG-8 but the obverse closer to G-4,,

Since the obverse carries most of the grade,, I split the difference.

G-6 In my opinion.

Okay - thanks. On my spreadsheet I listed it as VG-8 - I'll go back and do a little more gawkin' through my magnifier.
