garys64wildcat Pillar of the Community United States 593 Posts	Posted 12/05/2012 1:37 pm I went to Aculpaco in the 60`s and bought a ring with a 1947 2 1/2 peso gold. A I also have a 1895 one peso silver dollar sized. And a 1785 2 reale Carolnus III silver. I dont know much about the Mexican coinage. I know the 2 1/2 peso gold is melt value but the others are to beautiful to melt, esp. the 1 peso. Any info will be appreciated. I also have 2 from Panama a 1947 1/2 and a 1931 1/4 Balboa silver that are gorgeous coins. Back when they made attractive coins both US and Foreign. Gary Report this Post to the Staff
