The 1920 is a common date in AU which is the grade I would assign to this coin. Common circulated St. Gaudens $20 coins are selling for $50 to $100 over "melt" at my local shop which would place the value at about $1500.
Just sharing some unsolicited advice, but I would go for a certified MS-63 St. Gaudens over an AU any day given how close they are in price right now. The MS-63 will better hold its value if/when the price of gold falls again (which I believe it will).
