An acquaintance of mine is planning on liquidating a small hoard of melt-value silver and (roughly) face-value coppers/nickels prior to moving overseas. ebay is too much to bite off at such a busy time in his life; all he wants is to let the stuff go for a reasonable price without getting beaten up.

Anybody know a Portland dealer who will take care of him appropriately?

I recently sold 25 Franklin halfs and about 100 silver Roosevelt dimes on ebay and was very happy with what I got.

I'd think a couple of large lots on ebay would be an easy way to not get beaten up.
