1932 Pattern Quarter? - Coin Community Forum

Nor did a search for Washington quarter patterns. Typically pattern coins had mintages of less than 100 so this coin with a mintage of 25,000 seems out of character for a Mint struck pattern. Do you have a photo of the reverse? It would be interesting to see if it has a denomination, E Pluribus Unum, and United States of America all of which are required on U. S. coins. All I know is some 25,000 were struck by some private firm, and it's a bit of a disappointment to see one in a SEGS slab. It's like slabbing a Franklin Mint "commemorative."
