Common date in VG in original condition should be around $15 +/- a dollar or two.

Sorry to enable your addiction, but I just got a bunch of Barber halves myself to try to fill some of the last holes in my collection . PM if I can help you find some of the dates you need.

thanks rj. I'm not looking to complete a full date set or anything. Just looking to stack up on something different. I've never owned a Barber half so this is sort of exciting to me. Ordered a 1906 D off the Bay last night also. Paid $18.50 but this one had a much better condition on the reverse. The reverse on this coin is probably my new favorite design. Never thought of buying these as they can get quite pricy. But I can settle with VG for now

colu41,
I have NO problem enabling you!
Barber halves in VG are among the few, truly inexpensive sleepers available on the market today.

It used to be that all of the Barber coins, nickels, dimes, quarters and halves were lumped together as G-VG.
NO MORE!
The VGs are now separated from the goods.
In my opinion, any price up to $20 for an eye catching half in an uncleaned state is something to buy.

As the coins in Fine advance in price, the coins in pleasing VG will hold their desirability in years to come.

But what do I know?
