PCGS - In 1799, the United States Mint was underemployed and, essentially, an afterthought to Congress. Yet, it was still able to make 423,515 specimens of its Draped Bust Dollar. More than two centuries later, this one survives. In PCGS MS66, it sits at the top of the PCGS population and just sold for $299,250.
