biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 11/16/2012 11:42 am The zinc blanks are punched from the metal stock then the blanks go through the upsetting mill to become a planchet. At that point, the planchets are immersed in an electrochemical plating bath and then shipped to the Mint from Jarden Zinc. Report this Post to the Staff
