Use the office app that comes with the phone. I keep mine in the document format, but it also includes a spreadsheet program as well. I pull it out all the time when shopping for coins. I can edit it when I do buy items on my lists.

I agree. I use a spreadsheet, easily viewable on Android with the included Quickoffice.
