Hi,

Have been looking to add the odd one of these coins, but am slightly put off by the high premium. In addition, I was quite surprised at the very low sales figures for previous years that the Pertth Mint makes available on the website. For 2011, some coins had less than 10% and even 5% of the mintage sold for certain gold and platinum coins.

I am not somebody who is looking to make a quick profit, and hope to have the coin for many years, but at the same time I don't want to make a really bad investment. Any advice?

The coin I was looking at was the Green and Gold Bell Frog, as I have a thing for frogs and toads. I think it was the long days at the village pond during the summer holidays growing up as a kid in the 80s.
