I am new to coins, collect mainly British hammered coins but picked up this Lazarus Gottlieb Lauffer Jeton some weeks ago. I have looked at similar jetons and their weight has been heavier even though the dimensions are the same, (18.4mm) round about 0.74g whereas this jeton is 0.8g. Is this maybe a copper alloy or Brass? Any suggestions appreciated
