Is It Worth Certifying This 1921-D Morgan VAM 1A2?

Grading will cost you money and not add to the value of the coin. Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 12/14/2013 11:27 am VAM-1A2 is actually an EDS version of the die pair; Prooflike examples are known. It has to be considered a "die state" rather than a VAM of its' own, of course, but it's one of the rare ones which has a strikethrough as a recognized die state. The downside is, it's recognized because there are so many examples of it. As a 1A2, it's LDS because grease is already filtering out of the die. It'll still bring a premium because of interest, and it's still a Top 100 coin, so this is no time to be disappointed. Report this Post to the Staff
