found 2 100 dollar star notes our of 41 100's yesturday series 1999 and series 1996 (has writing on it)

That is awesome! I maintain a cash drawer at work and the largest denomination I have ever come up with was a $5.00. Writing or not, that is pretty cool!

In fact, I'll even put a dancing carrot on it...

thanks all. agreed, writing on them or not I think they're pretty cool and ill hold on to them. that website is pretty cool. I ran my star notes on it and one of my 1 dollar bills came up as a short run That site is now on my favorites list, thanks!

I've been collecting star notes (all denominations) for many years and have well over 500 of them. I'm seriously thinking of selling a bunch of them but have no clue what they're worth. most are very crisp. how can I find out?

You can put them up here, one by one, to ask for prices and the auction them off. You can also find a book on grading them ("Standard Red Book for Currency"....) and find out from there.
