Hello Members,

Ive got 2 possible farthing coins. One seems to be Ireland dated 1601 if I'm correctly. The other looks like an Dorchester Farthing 1666.
Could someone correct me if I am wrong?

First one is probably one penny 1601 or 3 pence 1601. It could be bullion then it is 3 pence. But I can't figure out the mint marks. Were to find those?
3 Pence is mintmark Martlet ? KM # 7.1
Penny is mintmark Star or Trefoil ? KM # 6.2 KM # 6.1

Found the second one already. It is an Farthing token. That's why I couldnt find it in Krause probably.

Dorchester town issue 1669 farthing:
Obv: *THE.ARMES.OF.DORCHESTE(small R). , around beaded inner circle, Town Arms.
Rev: *A.DORCHESTER.FARTHING , around beaded inner circle, *** H*D 1669 in three lines within, the letters H D refer to the Hospital of Dorchester.

Thanks! Very nice and interesting to read. I like this more then just only an determination. Thank you again.
Because of the E R (looks like K R on my coin) it is probably an penny then. Because on the website the 3 pence don't has this mark. The mintmark is star above the shield on the obverse. If I am correctly..
