Picked this up at my LCS. I would grade this somewhere between VF and XF What do you think.   Edited by stampvirgin

I think you mean VF and XF since EF and XF are the same think. I'm not too familiar with lowball commemorative. I think it makes VF-20 tops.

I see too much wear on the coin to consider it an XF piece. VF seems much more appropriate.

I say if you're happy with what you bought, you did well. A great early commemorative with nice eye appeal. Plus $15 is comparable to a worn, common Barber half, and you got something much better.  |
