As some might now I recently started to get into foreign coins and I have always wanted to do a Canadian type set (I want to do the Dansco 7210 and 7211 sets when I get to it) and recently I have been just buying random foreign coins that have caught my eye of my LCS's junk foreign bin.

I have a grabbed a 1932 nickel because I liked the looks of it and a 1896 and 1911 penny because I liked the looks of them.

I also grabbed a 1854 Bank of Upper Canada half penny not realizing that the coin was actually worth a bit more than the 20 cents I paid for it. Its actually in pretty good condition too, I will take photos of it when I get home.

I swear that 20 cent junk bin is the greatest thing ever, 4 silver coins out of it in a week and now the bank of upper Canada half penny I really wonder what I am missing in there that I don't know of that things a gold mine.

At 20 cents a piece just grab whatever catches your eye. Can't go wrong with a price that low.

I was given a not so nice but not horrible 1857 1/2 penny Bank of upper canada token. Pretty neat piece
