I wouldn't dwell on the subject, if I had stumbled over it on ebay with its countless fakes, but this one is being auctioned on sixbid: I'm no expert on Austrian thalers, but surely this must be a modern low weight (cast) copy?

looks ok to me. Its a Guldenthaler ( Worth 60 Kreuzer) which is lighter than the Augsburg thaler( 68 kreuzer) I couldn't confirm what the weight should be. I am sure someone else will be able to do that.

Edit found the weight Raw weight is 24.62 grams fine 22.89g
