Well, it would be easy to identify this coin, but it has a really non-usual obverse.
I need some help to know it's history, what it's made of, minting place and it's value.

This is supposed to be a (West) German 5 Mark piece of .625 silver. It's a commemorative piece, thus the unusual obverse design.
However, the reverse does not match catalog records. Here's how it's supposed to look like:

The coin commemorates the National Museum in Nürnberg's 100th anniversary.
I'm thinking it can be some sort of museum-issued special piece, but I don't know for sure.

Nurnberg (or Nuremberg) has been the home of jeton/token/counter token manufacturing since about 1600
