Dcnw1983 Valued Member United States 264 Posts	Posted 10/27/2015 6:30 pm I thought I had identified this as UMAYYAD, silver dirham, Al-Samiyyah, 131 AH (749 AD, but an ebay buyer told me: The mint name on this coin is al-Andalus because it is Spanish Umayyad and very clearly read at 7 o'clock.". echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 10/28/2015 10:47 am Reading over the information from the reference link it appears that the governor of al-Andalus at the time period of your coin was Yusub b Abd al-Rahman al-Fihri. I didn't find a reference to Al-Samiyyah. Report this Post to the Staff
