CollectorKing Valued Member 262 Posts	Posted 04/02/2016 8:04 pm Can someone put a value on his 1902 $5 Red seal with the Lyons-treat signatures. It is obvious the red seals are much less common then the blue seals And about 80% of the surviving red seals are Lyons-Roberts signature and only about 10% are the Vernon-treat signatures, the other 10% Vernon-Treat.. The charter #1461 $10 National with signatures of Lyons/Treat sold for $120. Evenly circulated but well worn, they have the note listed as VG. Red Seals were the first type issued in the Series of 1902. They were issued from 1902 to about 1908. These notes spent a lot of time in circulation and were more likely to be redeemed and destroyed.
