Note the bottom serif where the arrow is? That is called a split serif. This occurs when a mint mark punched is either rotated or tilted striking the die to enlarge the punched mint mark. When this occurs it is called a RPM because of the split on that area. That is called a spread/separation of the punching. The will be punched over and over until the desired depth if the mint mark is into the die. Although minor, it is a RPM. (possibly someday they will be listed) I save them incase someone wants to list them in the future.
