Does anyone know if this is a good coin to keep with my collecting or no. I haven't ever seen a penny like this before so any help and insight would be appreciated.

looks like the obverse and reverse were sanded a little to bring out the designs. I don't see anything special about the coin. Are you seeing something that I don't see?

Yeah I found a very worn 1897 V nickel in a roll as well as wartime silver nickel and wheaties but that's it so far.

To CCF , how long have you been CRH ? If you just started ,consider yourself lucky to have found those things. As for the 1973 Lincoln ; take it out of that 2x2 holder ,make a wish and throw into a fountain .
