Hflirn Pillar of the Community United States 586 Posts	Posted 10/09/2017 04:49 am This coin just seemed a bit more crisp than the business strikes I see of this year and mint. Lettering and detail seem square, away from rim, and almost sandblasted in spots. Not calling this a Matte or anything but was just curious if Denver received old proof dies for coinage this year. I did read that they minted a very very small amt of 64 Half Dollar SMS coins in Denver. However, I have yet to hear about or see one Lol! It would be nice to see a 64 D Peace dollar though! As for this coin I just thought it was struck very well for a Denver 64. The die markers for the 64 SMS are helpful for sure CWB. I saw an example in person and it helped quite a bit more too.
