2009-D Washington Quarter Doubled Die Obverse ?

I'm just a collector and one who spent a lot of time and dough searching for that elusive 2010 DD cent (until I finally just bought one), but I don't see much of anything on your quarter. Sorry. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/14/2017 12:51 pm The inverted image show me Machine Doubling. (forth image down) Note the enhanced areas? These where flattened by MD. If it were a doubled die, those areas would be raised and look wider/taller than normal. That is not the case with you coin. I do see the doubling you are referring to on the new pics. and as Coop mentioned it is MD and not a doubled Die,but to be honest with you we've all started just like you and have learned ,researched,made mistakes and learned again. So keep going/searching and ask questions, you have good eyes and looking at the right places, I am sure sooner rather than later you will find what you are searching for.
