I found this today when I was looking in my s penny stash. This 1970 s looks different from the other 1970 s pennies that I have. I looks like a small date to me but it could be just me. I did some reserch but I'm still confused. I thought I seen the small date was worth a little more then large date. Thanks for looking and helping me.

Yes indeed the 70S SD is a prize. They are very seldom found in circulation any more, been picked over for way too many years, it is that one in a billion chance find. I have had discussions about an intermediary point before the reworked hubs were introduced where a slight shortening was done to the tail of the 7, but have to this date been unable to confirm that, but that isn't THE 70S SD,unfortunately!
