I just got my first Seated dollar, I think it is the OC-1 die marriage? What would you grade it?

VF-30, don't see this making 40 with that flat head and barely complete "Liberty", no matter how strong the reverse.

As you drop down into the xf-vf range the obverse shield and liberty on it become an important factor in determining grade. That's an xf-40 shield. The head has strike issues as does the toe. So some of what your perceiving as rub is really strike issues on the obverse. I would stop short of calling it original. It's been worked on but should be market acceptable.
