Any suggestions on what to do with this Peace dollar? Looks like environmental damage or someone's attempt to clean it.

I see it as original surfaces BUT improperly stored.
Hence the unusual and unappealing (to me) toning pattern

I agree that it is unappealing. Would MS-70 potentially enhance or reduce the value?

Don't dip! Try a good soak in acetone first. This coin has potential.

Yes coin looks AU. Big $$$. Acetone first. If not help, I'd consider NCS conservation.
