Does any one know (or can give me a link to) what foreign coins are silver?

I have been buying a lot of older foreign coins at garage sales lately. So far about 20 ounces. Well I went through them all this last weekend and, with the help of the internet, pulled out 4.5 ounces of silver coins. Some are 50% some are 80%, all are old.

I have a pretty good idea on Canadian, but I also found British, Australian and Cuban silver.

Thanks.

There's a world coin part to this forum too cyberdan!

You can register at Numismaster.com and get everything except mintage numbers and pricing without paying a dime.

Cyberdan,
How old are those Australian silver coins? Even some from the 50s are worth substantially more than melt.
I don't know of a site where you can sort out silver, but Krause does a decent job listing the silver content.

I ran across this site some time ago - I'm sure it doesn't list them all, but there's a large variety of countries. http://www.dewardt.net/encyclodediaworld.html

This one lists the US ones: http://www.amergold.com/vault/silverinfo.shtml

This one lists by silver content: http://ecoininformation.com/8.html

Hope that helps!
