The 'throw them away' comments were in response to the title of your post in which the threepenny pieces are described as 'brand new' when, in reality, the photos show them to be in a very poor state of preservation. If you'd like to own coins of these dates in brand new condition you can easily buy them for for as little as one pound each. Your coins may have no monetary value but as they once belonged to your Grandmother, for you, the sentimental value will be high. This is surely more important than money?
