I'm definitely no expert at grading these, but I'll take a shot! VF-25?

I'd say it just makes a technical VF-20 grade since the outline of Liberty's breastplate is faint but complete. The reverse is stronger and would go VF-30 IMO.

It's a nice, original, crusty coin, just the way you like them Dewayne! Excellent photos, too. I'd say you got a really good deal since a typical cleaned VG example would probably cost about $8.00.

Thanks for the grades and the nice comments.

I like it as a 20.

The images are from a Canon S2IS Point&Shoot. This camera has a 12x optical zoom for nice closeup images. If I was going to buy point and shoot camera I would buy one that had at least a 12x optical zoom. The next thing is a copy stand or a tripod to hold the camera steady and then all you have to do is practice. I'm in the process of switching to a DSLR camera, but there is a learning curve and my images are not quite where I want them to be yet.

I cropped the coin out of the image using a program called "Microsoft Photo Editor"

I think it would grade a little higher than VF-20. Looks VF-25 to me.
