When brick hunting I chuck all Jefferson's 1971 and prior into my gallon pickle jar for closer scrutiny later. I apparently intended 6 months ago to acetone the coin but forgot, going through some of them yesterday the covered mintmark bugged me enough to finally investigate and Walla! In a $100.00 brick there were 1 1938 P 9 1939 P one 38 D Buffalo. 72 nickels were a mix of 40's,50's I find it incredible 80 year old coins can still be found easily in circulation.
