Rick, we need to talk about your photography. You have submitted several coins now.. help us to help you. Please crop your coins and enlarge them so we can clearly see both sides, and please orient them so we can see them correctly without cranking our necks.

Ok, your dime here... it looks as if it has been damaged from being squeezed in a vice or pliers maybe. I don't think it's a mint error.

Yes those rim dents are damage, perhaps from this coin being squeezed edgewise in a vice.
