I'm kind of new to RPMs when it comes to me determining it for my own coins, so what do you think?

Is this just MD or something else?

One thing for sure is that it isn't an RPM.
The mint stopped punching the MM onto the dies in 1989/1990.

After that date it is possible for them to be part of a DDO. I can't really tell what is causing any doubling you are seeing. A clear closeup of the MM and date would be helpful.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
