I have found several interesting halves from my current $500 box. This is the first of them. It is a circulated and undamaged 1971D Kennedy. The PUP is the motto E Pluribus Unum and the three stars above the affected area of the motto. Look at the attached two photos and give me your opinion on what you see.

I am not seeing it. I seeing an issue with heavy circulation wear and Die Deterioration.

The blank area on EPU is struck thru grease. Other than that the coin looks like a normal circulated 50c. What do you mean by PUP ?
