Spence Moderator United States 34467 Posts	Posted 08/01/2020 6:43 pm @jeff, at least according to the website es.ucoin.net, this is a commemorative 2 Reales issued by Carlos IV of Spain: https://es.ucoin.net/coin/spain-2-r...9/?tid=97800 The obv legend is DAVO TIVI CLAVES REGNI SMT CAPI 16 while the rev legend is 1789 / CIVTA CALPENSISI PROCLAMATIONE D IRCICA. Unfortunately, there is no attribution information, but hopefully this gets you started. Added: now that I look more closely, yours has a rose (mintmark?) which is missing on the other piece. Not an exact match, but hopefully a starting point. That was more than enough to get me to an exact match, it seems with the rose mint mark in this size it is a San Roque (Gibraltar) Módulo 4 Reales, and quite rare.
