@snore, can you please clarify how strongly magnetic this piece is? If someone chrome plated a regular coin, then it would be somewhat magnetic.

Also, I'm going to move this over to the world coin section of CCF.

Magnetic, magnets strongly attrached to it. Could not find any information on it, so I "dumped it" for $20 bucks.

NB: Got another one...Very magnetic, found in bag of world coins...have been unable to locate in Coin catologue (2008 only this commemorative 200 year 2010... did not find on google or numista...?

the first one I sold on ebay for $20, Buyer was very interested if I have another one (at the time: NO) If provides positive feedback stating he received it, I will ask him what it is...(I dislike "leading with my chin" or looking or sounding ignorant.

Spoke to Buyer. He has a couple of them but no information. Suggest Broken Up Proof Set but he did not like that idea. "I don't think so, I've never seen this coin in a blister or set (I have had 3 or 4 of this coin). Nor does it appear to have any trace of being a proof coin. The design is also quite simple."

However, I still think that the Frosting is key...Who can tell what was issued in South America then, or how many for Commemorative issue...Buyer believes it was souvenir issue (Maybe, still there should be some information on the issue).
