Is it possible that this could be 1939 reverse 38 or 40? I was thinking it might be reverse 40 since the steps don't look wavy.

Oops, that's not the 39, sorry. I have a topic for the 1950 D also.

(I switched the pictures around, so the 1950 D is in the 1950 D topic and the 1939 is here.)


I came across it while coin roll hunting a few years ago. Along with many others from the 30-70s (Especially 1964, 1968 and many 1970S's). It was 5-6 rolls with the dates written on them. I think it was someones collection that got spent.
