Hey folks. Currently in an ICG slab but I'm thinking of transferring to NGC. I really like the die flow lines on this one, not to mention the toning.

Beautiful peripheral toning and excellent luster in a very late state die. Some areas of strike weakness, but I don't see any signs of wear. I'd say MS-64. (It's an O-113a if you're interested.)

Don't see any wear, wouldn't be surprised at ICG 65.

Nice! I'll say MS-64, ICG probably graded higher.

I will go with MS-65, but
struck on a very imperfect planchet.

Possible planchet damage before striking?
It may? be underweight. Worth checking. If so, then an error coin.

Thanks everyone! ICG gave it a 64, so this thread's consensus is on the money. I'll let you all know what NGC says if I do transfer.

Zurie, thanks for the Overton, I was indeed curious.

i find it an interesting and attractive coin. at first I thought AU58 but the weak strikes on these coins can sometimes fool the best graders. I think NGC may knock it a point for strike so I think it could come back as MS63

Looks like some very light circulation. AU-58.
