1925 Penny Broken N Grading Help - Coin Community Forum

I'm looking for some help please on grading this 1925 Penny broken N variety that I inherited from my mother a few years ago. The 7th & 8th pearls are just visible when a light is held at the right angle (approx 45deg at top) with the other six and the centre diamond clear with any light angle. Would it be worth submitting it to PCGS and would their grading increase it's value significantly? I'm looking at selling it. Report this Post to the Staff

Aussie Pennies New Member Australia 7 Posts	Posted 12/21/2020 05:01 am My opinion only as grading has become such a minefield these days... Grading by ANDA standards it would be VF+ or maybe aEF . EF would have to have 8 fully visible pearls without magnification and a very clean field. PCGS would probably go to EF45. The fully broken N should certainly bring a good premium if you are not in a hurry to sell it. Very nice error on a very Scarce coin :) Report this Post to the Staff
