Fantastic find, and an even better story that you just happened to get it in change! I agree with levelsofmadnes though, not worth grading in this condition. I say put it in a well-labeled 2x2 flip and call it a day. The variety is very obvious even without magnification, so anyone buying it shouldn't need a slab to confirm that it is what it purports to be.

First, At coin shows, circulated high leaf quarters are running in the $40-50 range and circulated low leaf quarters are running $25-$40 right now. Values have dropped a lot since the initial hype. I agree with the upthread comments, you won't need to certify the coin. People will have a good feel for the grade, the variety is obvious, and authenticity isn't an issue. Fantastic find! I haven't heard of many people who have found these in circulation. Good eye, and keep hunting! |

Good advice posted for you. Ad by the time you pay the company to slab, pay ebay fees etc., you probably would not profit/pocket the same amount as what a raw one sells for.
